December 19, 2006
1) Holiday Sales:
a. Discuss that no members are showing up during lunch periods to sell and others outside the group have been selling
b. Available Periods:
i. Period 4: Ola, Ruben, Tatyana
ii. Period 5: Martina, Leah
iii. Period 6: Marni, Nola (Thursday), Daniel (Wednesday, Friday)
iv. Period 7: Olivia, Johana, Julia
2) Committee Meetings:
a. Recycling Committee: went outside to take pictures of trash
b. Treasury Committee: discussed holiday sales and decided that Valentines Day Sales would be bake sales
c. Animal Rights: research possible animal shelters in which members could volunteer

a. Exec meeting in which members sit in

a. Finish watching movie The Inconvenient Truth
3) January 15, 2007:
a. Deadline for submitting YouthCan paper
4) January 16, 2007:
a. Meeting cancelled due to midterms week
5) January 2007:
a. Jane Goodall Conference
b. Invite some of the members to attend
III. YouthCan
1) Takes place on Monday after Earth Day
2) LEAP will have a recycling session
3) Deadline for mailing in is January 15
4) Elissa/Sable run the meeting
IV. Animal Rights
1) volunteer at animal shelters
2) some require once a month commitment
3) Emily: look up shelters and make lists so members can choose to volunteer at the ones they prefer
