    Recycling Report

    Meeting with Ms. Cooper

    How many green recycling bins? In classrooms, how many have them?

    Buy the ones we need, one/classroom

    Kayla has a list, do we need to update? Needs number by tomorrow

    One blue recycling bin/ 3 classrooms

    Posters- Salma will make: "Recycle please", "This is trash bin", "This is for paper"

    Start by April 3rd à the bins need to be in by then

    Talk to faculty on April 7th at after school conference

    Janitors will manage with clear bags

    April 3rdà talk to homerooms about it, recruit Cabinet, Arista members = 80 homerooms

    Need people to sort trash out

    Ola will write what people will say by tomorrow for homeroom visits

    Miranda will talk to ms. Paolercio

    1)      January 9, 2007:

    a.       Finish watching movie The Inconvenient Truth

    2)      January 16, 2007:

    a.       Meeting cancelled due to midterms week

     

    III. Earth Day

    1)      Date: Friday, April 20, 2007

    2)      Rain date: Monday, April 23, 2007

    3)      Invite children to Earth Day

    4)      SimmCorp wants a booth with a game (Christine to ask for details)

    IV.  Animal Rights

    1)      volunteer at animal shelters

    2)      some require once a month commitment

    3)      Emily: look up shelters and make lists so members can choose to volunteer at the ones they prefer
